| Boo Digital Puppet

Inspired by the Magic Mirror Digital puppet I've been using for years on Halloween, I decided to create a "Boo" puppet for my 2015 Super Mario Halloween theme. This is the digital puppet version, where a combination of PHP and jquery is used to bind keystrokes to JavaScript animations.

Boo can look in all directions, change expressions, has mouth control, and can even change outfits. All in all a fun and successful project that I will build on in the future.

How to Play

Make Boo Move

"W" = Look Up
"Q" = Look Up Left
"E" = Look Up Right
"X" = Look Down
"Z" = Look Down Left
"C" = Look Down Right
"A"= Look Left
"D" = Look Right

Expressions

"S" = Shy
"B" = Make Boo Talk
"N" = Reset Boo
"G" = Wave

Special Keys

"P" = Peach Mode
"M" = Mario Mode
"L" = Luigi Mode
"O" = Slow Boo Buddy
"I" = Fast Boo Buddy

This game is designed to work on desktop computers only.
This game can be played with keyboard.
Using third party software, you can map a controller/joystick to a keyboard for a game controller interface.
There is no way to control Boo using a touch screen interface.
The game UI is also not optimized for mobile resolutions.
